Delta Zeta women are lifelong learners

Highest GPA

 Fall 2021

We are, first and foremost, students. Membership in Delta Zeta is meant to enhance a woman’s college education, but learning to balance classroom and social responsibilities is a learned thing. Delta Zeta's sisters have a higher GPA on average compared to other students who are not in Greek Life.

We’ve developed programs and services to help our members enjoy academic success. While the average non-Greek GPA is 3.04, our women average a 3.375 or greater.

A Letter From Our Academic Officer:

Hi! My name is Georgia Premoli and I am the Academic Chair for the Delta Delta Chapter. I am a PoliSci major with a marketing minor. I joined Delta Zeta at Georgia State because all the women I talked to were very career oriented and I felt that I could be supported in that aspect no matter what I end up doing. Before the end of 2021, I wanted to run for academics to have the chapter come together again (after COVID) and be able to work towards supporting each other through academics. As the academic chair I reinstituted study hours, as well as non-traditional study hours, so sisters are able to get hours for working on updating their resume or linkedin profile. The chapter has also done workshops on Google Calendar and Handshake to ensure that our sisters are organized and ready to start obtaining internships. As a chapter we also do Turtle Buddies, where you are matched with someone to a similar major to you so you can get advice on courses to take, help with studying, or someone to talk to that is interested in what you are interested in. Delta Zeta has a diverse chapter with many different majors, minors, and concentrations and someone is always more than willing to help you with your career goals or academic endeavors.

The Delta Zeta Foundation awards scholarships in recognition of academic excellence and financial need.  Each year outstanding young women are able to continue their education because of the generosity of alumnae who contribute to existing scholarships or establish new ones.
